iPhones are great!
it's all depend of the user, the need and the provider. if your experience is a good one.

I have blackberry but i also had the iPhone. I drop the iPhone.
I'm executive and its my opinion that iPhones provides many cool features but many i don't use for business. So that's why i went with the Blackberry.
I use to be a heavy "CrackBerry" user but I'm clean now.
I no longer get emails through my phone.
Just phone calls or text messages.

I don't agree with the title of your article but hey i worked for it got me here!

I've wasted so much precious time with the iphone. It truly drains battery life, locks up intermittently like a senior citizen in hospice. It's very annoying. I've said it that the mac baby has little appeal to business. Great for music, yea, the Ipod. If you're sending text and mistakingly hit the plus sign, it goes away, no matter what you've typed so far. I'm an old winmobile guy but I'm on this page searching for info about Blackberry. Ebay will help offload my iphone.

I agree. I bought a Bold on Election Day for most of the reasons you state. The iPhone is pretty, and does represent a leap forward in consumer cellular technology, but falls short for business use. I would add one thing to your list, though… the Bold has true GPS, while the iPhone apparently has a crippled GPS that is not capable of providing turn by turn instructions. With Telenav/AT&T Navigator service, the Bold simply replaces and even out-do’s an in car navigation system.

Great article, but it’s sad you are begging Jobs not to revoke your Mac club membership at the end. We as a people need to loosen our fixation with that shitty company. People hold them in such high regard, capable of doing godly things one after another, but they don’t deserve it. They make just as many bad products as anyone else.

In regards to battery life: I currently have several batteries for my phone (sony erricson) and have thought about going the iphone route, but I hear the batteries are not swappable. I don’t like charging my phone and generally like to charge my batters on an external device and swap them as needed.

How does the Blackberry Bold stand up to battery swapping?

Quite a lot of this seems to be based off your opinions. Surely a better title would be “13 Good Reasons I Dumped My iPhone…”.

A few of the points don’t match my opinions.
